three day jazz vocal workshop: Copenhagen June 16, 17, 18 2014

All semiprofessional and professional vocalists and voice teachers interested in improving their improvisational skills are hereby invited to join an exclusive three days workshop with master teacher and "King of Scat", Bob Stoloff! The workshop is only open to 15 participants!

The workshop will engage the rudiments of vocal improvisation: rhythmic, melodic and harmonic approaches to traditional scat singing, including syllables, accents, chord scales, patterns, phrasing how to solo over jazz standards and Latin tunes.

Additionally it will be possible to work with your role as a bandleader concerning grooves, lead sheets, intros and endings, hand signal cues and how to effectively communicate your ideas to accompanists using Bob's "instru-vocabulary".

Every singer must bring 2-3 songs to work on during their individual time at the masterclass.

The masterclasses will be accompanied by piano, bass and drums.
